I expect most of you have already come across this. However, if, like me, you were completely oblivious to the Michael Morpurgo penned story of the Olympic mascots here is some news for you: Michael Morpurgo has penned a nice little story all about the Olympic mascots!
See above for the accompanying film and grab the original text from here; easy to copy into an A5 booklet for pupils. As you would expect from a Morpurgo text, lots of great teaching points throughout.
